If you're looking for a swim spa in Cornwall, you probably already know what you want from one. Maybe you've had a hot tub for years and want space to actually swim. Maybe your current swim spa is getting tired and you're ready to replace it. Either way, the hard part is choosing the right size and layout, and knowing someone local will look after it once it's in.

We sell, install and service swim spas and exercise pools from our showroom in Wadebridge. Our range runs from 11ft to 23ft and £13,495 to £31,995. You can see models in person before you commit.

Choosing the right swim spa

For regular swimmers

If you swim for fitness, length and current strength matter more than anything else. A longer shell gives you a full stroke without feeling like you're about to hit the end. A swim spa pool of 18ft or more gives serious swimmers room to train properly every day, all year.

For low-impact exercise and recovery

Warm water takes the load off your joints, so you can swim, aqua-jog or do resistance work without the impact of a gym. That's why an exercise pool suits people who want gentle daily movement followed by a soak in the hydrotherapy seats.

For households who want to swim and soak

Combi models split the shell into two zones, so one person can train in cooler water while someone else relaxes at hot tub temperature.

Replacing an older swim spa or upgrading from a hot tub

If you already have a swimming spa, we can talk you through what's changed since you bought yours, from swim systems to running costs. We'll check whether your existing base and electrics will suit a new model.

Moving up from a hot tub is a bigger step. A swim spa is heavier when full, needs more space and usually needs a 32, 40 or 50 amp supply, depending on the model. That often means a new base and an electrical upgrade. We'll tell you exactly what's needed before you order, so there are no surprises on delivery day.

Before you buy a swim spa

Before you buy a swim spa, you should check:

Space: the footprint of the shell, plus room around it for access and servicing.

Base: a solid, level concrete base rated for the full weight.

Power: a dedicated supply at the right amperage, fitted by a qualified electrician.

Access: a clear route for delivery. Some gardens need a crane.

Visit our Wadebridge showroom

The best way to choose a swim spa is to see it, and ideally get in it. Our showroom is at Unit 5, Dunveth Business Park, Wadebridge, PL27 7FE. We're a locally run team, so the people you speak to in the showroom are the same people who deliver and service your spa.

Servicing and aftercare

Once your swim spa is installed, our own service engineer looks after it. That covers routine servicing, water care advice and repairs, and chemicals and filters are available through our online shop.
